Scout is a 2 year old Lemon Beagle rescued from the Osceola County Animal Shelter. He was rescued and trained by J & K Canine Academy, High Springs, Florida. As part of his training, and while waiting for his 4 months Hawaii Rabies Quarantine Certification, Scout worked on many Bed Bug Detection Inspections throughout the southern US. Even though he is extremely well travelled and seems to enjoy it, he has settled into a comfortable and exciting new life as a working dog with a great family life, living on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu.
He starts his day by going to work every morning at 7.00am. He returns home at 4.00pm to relax with Michael’s family, where he spends time with the two pet dogs, Brownie (Rat Terrier) and Mishka (Bichon Frise). At night he sleeps in the kid’s bedroom where he makes sure the Bed Bugs don’t bite!
